The Two-Party System Is Not Working.

People don't like their choices. Trump and Clinton were the most disliked candidates in modern history.

The two-party system puts us in arbitrary camps that do not reflect our nuanced views as citizens.

This has to change. And we're going to change it.

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV)

Ranked Choice Voting will break the two-party system. Our current voting system, First-Past-The-Post, means a third-party vote really is wasted, and only two parties can play the game.

Want more choice and competition in your elections? Support Ranked Choice Voting.

Open Primaries

The current primary system means the most partisan candidates are your only choices in the general election.

Open primaries mean anyone can vote in a primary--not just party die-hards.

Want candidates that represent everyone, not just party zealots? Support Open Primaries.

One State at a Time

We are working to bring Ranked Choice Voting and Open Primary referendums to as many states as possible 2018. It worked in Maine. It can work in your state.

We Need Your Help

This is going to be a team effort. We need a whole lot of dedicated, passionate volunteers that want to help. Take a look at the positions below!

Marketing Director & Strategist

We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional to join the core ReConsider Voting team. This role will include devising and managing the implementation of marketing strategy. It will include making the message clear and resonant, and building a community excited to donate, campaign, volunteer, and vote for voting reform. Additionally, the Marketing Director will work closely with the core ReConsider Voting management team to craft organizational-level strategy and determine how to best deploy resources. You’ll be leading from the front.

Applicants must have a demonstrated professional track record of crafting, building and supervising marketing campaigns that have driven observable change in target audience/market behavior.  A record of engaging, building, and growing a community is desirable.

Ideally, the applicant has 5+ years of experience in different marketing areas. However, we’re less concerned about an arbitrary number of years of work experience than seeing proof of effectively launching marketing campaigns that have driven measurable results.
